el martes fue una cena espectacular con una comida riquisima y una mesa espectacular y sobre todo la compania de los de mi mesa, estubyeron compartiendo conmigo los 2 mejores cardiologos del utah valley y los cordinadores del grupo la mejor corredora treicy y my mejor entrenadora katrina pero sobretodo cuado Maria Black me entrego una segunda medalla en la cena por el mejor corredora asi esque tengo 2 medallas ahora y me entregaron un reconocimiento por el mejor aprobechamiento en el grupo huahu me senti mui emocionada gracias a my companera inceparable Norma y que siempre me echo muy buena bibra y me apoyo y gracias porque me acompano siempre bay nos bemos luego.
estoy muy contenta porque e terminado mi carrera en el hospital saben el sabado 21 que fue la carrera pense que no iba a ganar o ha llegar en el limite de el tiempo quiero compartirles que llegue en 1 er lugar de las mujeres y obtube un premio y tambien una cosa para la sintura que tyene una botella de agua y para el ipod y me felicitaron y aparte de eso fui la unica de mi grupo de el corazon que obtubo un reconocimiento gracias por aberme dado la oportunidad de participar en la carrera y por haberme hecho sentir tan bien el lunes obtube mis analicis finales de la carrera y creo que me fue muy bien pero ya vere el martes en la sena del cierre de la carrera. el martes fue una cena espectacular en el hospital

ya estamos en las finales de la carrera y me siento un poco triste porque ya bamos a terminar ayer fue la ultima ves que tubimos la clase de nutricion y boy a extranar sus consejos de comida de Mindi y salir corriendo para llegar a tiempo todos los jueves pero ya mero terminamos y la semana pasada que fue a nuestra clase de nutricion el chef me gusto mucho su clase y sus consejos solo que hablaba muy rapido y algunas palabras no entendi muy bien pero cache casi todo lo que nos dijo bueno mucha suerte a todos y gracias a la senora que nos llebo las flores me gusto mucho y a Tyna por los chocolates que me comi el paquetito entero que nos trajo de hawaii estaban deliciosos ok esta semana mi entrenamiento a sido bastante cansado porque my bebe a estado enfermo y no se a sentido bien y el ejercicio Katrina nos a matado con las escaleras y las lagartijas pero bueno yo se que bale la pena y la boy a extranar mucho cuando termine la carrera.
We are in the last stretch of the competition and I feel somewhat sad because we are almost done. Yesterday was the last nutrition class and I am going to miss Mindi's tips on foods, running to get to class on time on thursday. In that class we had a special guest who was a chef. esta semana me fue muy byen en la clase de nutricion aprendi que debemos aseptar nuestro cuerpo que nosotros pensamos que el cuerpo perfecto es el de una modelo y no es asi nuestro cuerpo es dependiendo nosotros que sea saludable. hoy estube muy cansada katryna me mato en nuestra clase de gimnasio nos cambio la rutina y estubo muy dibertida y muy cansada pero estoy muy contenta porque katryna se graduo hoy y se veia muy bonita creo que consu toga y su pansita felicidades katryna por eso eres muy buena como entrenadora y esta semana pasada me compre una crema majica supuestamente para redusir el abdomen es de algas marinas y se pone en las noches pero huele muy feo y espero me sirva , estoy contenta porque esta semana perdi 1 libra mas y espero seguir asi, ya casi terminamos la carrera nos falta casi un mes pero le estoy echando muchas ganas para que mis ninos se sientan orgullosos de su mama y balga la pena el sacrificio que emos echo todos. feliz dia de pascua.

Our body is not naturally like that, and we are responsible for our body to be healthy. I was very tired today because Katryna's workout killed me at our gym class. She changed our routine which was fun. but I was very tired, although I am happy because Katryna graduates today and she looked very pretty with her cap and gown with her pregnant belly. Congratulations Katryna!!!! She is a great trainer.
This past week I bought a "magical cream," supposedly to help reduce our abs. It is made from marine algae, this cream you put on at night but it stinks. I hope this works! Last week I lost a pound, and I hope I keep shedding those pounds. We are almost done with the challenge and we have a month left, regardless I am trying hard so my kids can be proud of their mother, and it is worth the sacrifice that we have all done. Happy Easter!

esta semana fue muy pesada para mi porque por un 1ado mis ninos estubieron en el springbreak y no tube que llebarlos a la escuela y me ayudaron mucho con mi bebe para poder ir a hacer ejercicio en la manana y no tener tanto estres por llebar a cuidar al bebe pero todos los dias estube madrugando para tratar de ir al ejercicio alas 6 de la manana haci que estoy muerta de cansancio pero se que bale la pena porque la semana pasada pase al doctor y mi presion arterial esta muy bien y he bajado 2 libras mas yo se que no es mucho pero estoy contenta, mi mama esta estable muchas gracias por sus horaciones ella sigue en reposo y esta un poco mas mejor esta secando su heryda y bueno espero y se este cuidando y parese que el doctor le a dado buenas esperanzas para que no corten su pie pero hay que esperar un poco mas, hoy katrina me mato con el ejercicio me puso nuevas rutinas y nos puso bastante cardio y ahumento el peso de las maquinas asi que estoy muy cansada hoy espero la semana que entra estar mas descansada.

They helped me a lot with my baby so that I could go exercise in the mornings and I was not stressed to have to bring him every day. But I had to wake up to go exercise at 6 in the morning and was extremely tired. However, I know that it is worth it because last week I went to the doctor and my blood pressure was very good and I had lost 2 pounds! I know that doesn't sound like a lot but I am very happy. My mother is also getting better as an aswer to her prayers. Her doctor has hope that they will not have to cut off her foot due to the ulcer that is forming from her diabetes. But there is even more to hope for, today Katrina killed me with new additions in the exercise ruitine; she added a lot more cardio and increased the weights on the machines, because of this I am very tired today. I hope that next week is more relaxing.

Life happens....
esta semana estube un poco triste ya que en Mexico mi mama esta muy enferma pues hace 3 anos atras le iban a cortar su pierna derecha porque tiene venas baricosas y sele yso una ulsera en su pie y rebentaron sus venas y se le complico porque ella tiene diavetis y presion alta pero estubo en tratamiento y grasias a dios no se la cortaron pero otrabes la semana pasada estubo en el hospital porlo mismo su mala sirculacion y su ulsera en el pie yo me siento triste porque no puedo estar serca de ella y cuidarla pero yo la llamo por telefono y trato de deciele lo que he aprendido aqui en el programa de 100 dias de corazon y yo espero se cuide y trate de comer sano porlo pronto no puede hacer ejercicio nesecita mucho reposo porque sino sele buelbe a abrir la herida del pie . yo quiero pedirles que hagan una horacion por mi mama y a todas las personas que tienen diavetis que cuiden sus pies y su salud porque para los hijos creanme es mui dificil que su mama o un miembro de su familia tenga esto.

I hope she can take care of herself and eat healthy since she can't exercise as she needs. She will need to rest or else she will have a relapse. I ask that you pray for my mom and anyone else who has diabetes so they can take care of their feet, especially since it is hard on the children because it is their parents or a family member that is going through with this.

This is working!!! who would of thought
estoy muy emocionada porque tube cita con el doctor y mi presion arterial bajo a 108 y 67 y no he bajado mucho de peso pero mi presion si estoy muy contenta porque hace 1 semana atras fue mi cumpleanos y bueno tube algunos regalos no muchos pero si comi mucho pastel y rompi mi dieta pero solo por ese dia pero bueno Mindi me dijo que esta bien selebrar por 1 dia y despues bolver con la dieta pero creo que por estas semanas estoy mejor en el ejercicio ahunque Catryna me mata y e podido correr un poco mas y espero estar mejor para el final dela carrera le estoy echando muchas ganas y me estoy esforsando mucho y tambien e tratado de cambiar la alimentacion de my familia y ensenarles a comer mejor tengo que cuidarlos desde ahora porque no quiero que cuando mis ninos crescan tengan ipertencion como yo o cuaquier otra enfermedad y aprendan a gustarles las verduras y haser ejercisio.

estoy muy emecionada por mi nueva companera se llama Norma y es de argentina y ella en su primer semana a logrado bajar 5 libras le esta echando muchas ganas y me motiva mucho y es muy divertida y esta semana aprendi en mi clase de nutricion que las galletas tienen grasa saturada y muchas cosas mas para leer los intructivos y mi entrenadora es muy buena esta semana me puso otras rutinas mas dificiles y aprendi a usar otros aparatos y manana me toca hacer mas peso en mis rutinas espero que no amanesca tan adolorida el domingo y ayer en la tarde me puse en vestido que hace 4 meses no me quedaba y me lo prove y me quedo mui bien no como me quedaba antes pero si un poco menos ajustado y he notado que cuando uno baja de peso tambien bajan como las munecas delas manos porque mi relog me quedaba bien ajustado y ahora se me da bueltas y eso me motyva a seguir adelante.

Something very excited happened, I tried on a dress that didn't fit me 4 month ago and it was actually a little bigger in some parts. I've realized that when we are loosing weight all our body is altered. Now my watch that was tight is now bigger. This motivates me to keep going.

mi 3era semana dulce
estoy muy emocionada porque tengo una nueva companera de equipo se llama Norma ella es Argentina y esta conmigo en las clases de zumba ahy la conoci y la invite porque ella es muy divertida y expontanea y siempre en los ejercicios me da mucho aliento para seguir haciendolo ella me motiva y yo tambien trato de hacerlo, poreso digo que es una semana dulce porque me habia quedado sola sin companera .estoy un poco triste no se que me paso pero ahumente de peso regrese a mi peso que tenia antes cuando comense la carrera pero tal ves la vascula estaba mal ,eso espero porque he hecho ejercicio y e tratado de llebar mi dieta pero nose que paso creo que bajar 4 libras me ba a costar mas trabajo que bajar 20 no se si a alguien le a pasado lo mismo me gustaria que me lo contaran para n o sentirme tan mal' .hoy en la clase de nutrycion aprendi muchas cosas nuevas pero todavia se me hace un poco dificil entender hacerca delos carbohidratos y los porsentages es un poco complicado pero tratare de entender . para la proxima sita con mi entrenadora tendre un reto mas porque me va a ahumentar el peso en mis ejercicios y en lo de cardio creo que va a subir un poco mas es duro pero se que puedo y lo voy a hacer no importa que me duelan los musculos al dia siguiente

the 100 heart day challenge is working for me!!
Estoy muy emocionada porque el martes me pese y baje 1 lb 1/2!!! Yo se que no es mucho pero algo es algo. he cambiado la alimentacion con la nutriologa, y la entrenadora me ha ayudado mucho. Y he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas.
Nutricion
He aprendido de los carbohidratos, las porciones, y sobre todo que puedo comer las lechugas, jicamas, y pepino todo lo que quiera
Ejerecicio
Aprendido "el STAIR MASTER" que si le doy para a tras me ayuda con mis musculos de atras. Y me gusto mucho. Aprendi como usar la pelota para los abdominales y squats. Aprendi como usar las maquinas de los brazos para los "biceps y triceps."
Aprendi que una botella de 16 oz son 2 porciones, y debes tomar 4 o 5 botellas de 16 oz. Y tambien que una tortilla de harina y de maiz son las mismas porciones, al igual que comer de un plato pequeño es mejor que uno grande.
I am so excited I have LOST 1 1/2 lbs I know it is not a lot but something is something. I have changed my meals with the help of my nutritionists, and trainer. They have both helped me a lot. I have learned a ton of new things:
Nutrition
I have learned about carbs, portion size and most of that I can eat all the lettuce, jicama, and cucumber that I want.
Exercise:
I have learned to love "the STAIR MASTER" especially if I do it backwards I work out my back leg muscles. I also learned how to use the exercise ball for squats and ABS. I was also taught how to use the bicep and tricep isolated machines
I also learned that one 16 oz water bottle are two servings. I was so naive I didn't know that. so I am drinking 4 or 5 16 oz not 8-10. The nice thing is that I can have either corn or whole wheat tortilla. I learned a new trick that I can use a smaller plate to serve food so it "seems" like I am eating a lot. I do use a larger plate for salads.

zumba y otras cosas que me gustan

¿Me puedes encontrar?
Me gusta bailar Zumba. Lo bueno es que puedo traer a mi bebe, y no me cuesta nada. En otros lugares tendria que pagar por cuidado de niño y como no estoy trabajando no tengo dinero para eso.
Tambien me gusta comer los panes y todos los postres. Me gusta salir a correr en la primavera con mi bebe en la carriola. Me encanta ver a mi hijo jugar soccer. El esta en una liga de indoor soccer. El es portero y adelantero, y el mejor portero que hay por supersto. Mi hija esta en la escuela de danza y me gusta ir a ver la praticar y cuando concursa en BYU.

Why I decided to be part of the challnege
I am interested in this program because I have high blood pressure, and wouldn't like to have to take medication. I have panic attacks and will have to be on medication for life, and I would really like not to take any more medication. Especially since I can manage high blood pressure on my own.
I am very excited and very content with the program. I hope to learn a lot and I hope all the exercise and nutrition changes will help me lower my pressure.
I am a mother of 3 beautiful kids. I have a 14 year old daughter, 10 year old son, and 1 year son. My husband is actually 12 years old and is a really healthy guy. I would like to be healthy so I can be with my family and enjoy our time together. I would also like to teach my kids how to eat healthy, and have a good lifestyle. My daughter is a little overweight and really loves Fast Food, and I hope to gain the skills to encourage better eating habits.
