the 100 heart day challenge is working for me!!

Estoy muy emocionada porque el martes me pese y baje 1 lb 1/2!!! Yo se que no es mucho pero algo es algo.  he cambiado la alimentacion con la nutriologa, y la entrenadora me ha ayudado mucho.  Y he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas.

Nutricion
He aprendido de los carbohidratos, las porciones, y sobre todo que puedo comer las lechugas, jicamas, y pepino todo lo que quiera

Ejerecicio
Aprendido "el STAIR MASTER" que si le doy para a tras me ayuda con mis musculos de atras.  Y me gusto mucho.  Aprendi como usar la pelota para los abdominales y squats. Aprendi como usar las maquinas de los brazos para los "biceps y triceps."

Aprendi que una botella de 16 oz son 2 porciones, y debes tomar 4 o 5 botellas de 16 oz.  Y tambien que una tortilla de harina y de maiz son las mismas porciones, al igual que comer de un plato pequeño es mejor que uno grande.


I am so excited I have LOST  1 1/2 lbs  I know it is not a lot but something is something. I have changed my meals with the help of my nutritionists, and trainer.  They have both helped me a lot.  I have learned a ton of new things:

Nutrition
I have learned about carbs, portion size and most of that I can eat all the lettuce, jicama, and cucumber that I want.

Exercise:
I have learned to love "the STAIR MASTER" especially if I do it backwards I work out my back leg muscles.  I also learned how to use the exercise ball for squats and ABS.  I was also taught how to use the bicep and tricep isolated machines

I also learned that one 16 oz water bottle are two servings.  I was so naive I didn't know that.  so I am drinking 4 or 5 16 oz not 8-10.  The nice thing is that I can have either corn or whole wheat tortilla.  I learned a new trick that I can use a smaller plate to serve food so it "seems" like I am eating a lot.  I do use a larger plate for salads.

zumba y otras cosas que me gustan

¿Me puedes encontrar?

Me gusta bailar Zumba.  Lo bueno es que puedo traer a mi bebe, y  no me cuesta nada.  En otros lugares tendria que pagar por cuidado de niño y como no estoy trabajando no tengo dinero para eso.

Tambien me gusta comer los panes y todos los postres.  Me gusta salir a correr en la primavera con mi bebe en la carriola.  Me encanta ver a mi hijo jugar soccer.  El esta en una liga de indoor soccer.  El es portero y adelantero, y el mejor portero que hay por supersto.   Mi hija esta en la escuela de danza y me gusta ir a ver la praticar y cuando concursa en BYU.  

Why I decided to be part of the challnege

I am interested in this program because I have high blood pressure, and wouldn't like to have to take medication.    I have panic attacks and will have to be on medication for life, and I would really like not to take any  more medication.  Especially since I can manage high blood pressure on my own.

I am very excited and very content with the program.  I hope to learn a lot and I hope all the exercise and nutrition changes will help me lower my pressure.

I am a mother of 3 beautiful kids.  I have a 14 year old daughter, 10 year old son, and 1 year son.  My husband is actually 12 years old and is a really healthy guy.  I would like to be healthy so I can be with my family and enjoy our time together.  I would also like to teach my kids how to eat healthy, and have a good lifestyle.  My daughter is a little overweight and really loves Fast Food, and I hope to gain the skills to encourage better eating habits.
